GOVERNOR SOLUDO OPENING THE SOLUTION INNOVATION DISTRICT CENTRE (SID) IN AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE

On August 1st, 2023, the Youth Friendly Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR opened the Solution Innovation District Centre (SID) in Awka, Anambra State. During the event, a ceremony was also held for the presentation of laptops to 20 beneficiaries.

Mr. Patrick Agha Mba the Commissioner for Youth Development in Anambra State, delivered a speech during the ceremony. He commended Governor Soludo for his unwavering support and praised Mrs. Chinwe Okoli SPAD to Governor on Innovation and Business Incubator, for her efforts in driving the Governor's policy on the digital tribe - "Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere."

The Solution Innovation District (SID) is set to become a hub for innovation and technological advancement, propelling Anambra State's development in the digital era. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant tech ecosystem and drive socioeconomic growth in the region.

The presentation of laptops at the event marks a significant step towards equipping the youth with the necessary tools to embrace technology and participate actively in the digital revolution.

The opening of the SID and the support from Governor Soludo's administration underscore the commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive and sustainable development in Anambra State.
