Youth Commissioner Commends Governor Soludo's Resilient Economic Response at Joint Retreat

Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, Commissioner for Youth Development in Anambra, praised Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR for his prompt and inclusive approach to tackling economic challenges. Speaking on the Second Day Tuesday, 22nd August 2023 of the Anambra State Executive/Legislative Joint Retreat with the theme: "STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP COLLABORATION FOR EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE AND DELIVERY OF THE ANAMBRA AGENDA" at Golden Tulip Agulu Lake Hotel, Mba highlighted key actions.

These measures include salary increases, cash awards for pensioners, and rice distribution to vulnerable households. Tax exemptions and reduced IGR payments were implemented to aid struggling citizens. The government's investment in education, healthcare, transportation, and infrastructure was also lauded.

Mba additionally praised Governor Soludo's collaborative efforts to maximize federal palliative benefits for Anambra residents. The commissioner's address celebrated the governor's dedication to creating a prosperous and resilient Anambra state, emphasizing the significance of the occasion's theme in achieving these goals.
