ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT CONCLUDES JOINT RETREAT OF EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATURE.

The Anambra State Government has just concluded a three-day retreat for members of the Executive and Legislature, from the 20th to the 22nd of August, 2023 at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu. The combined event is the first in the annals of the State aimed at building stronger synergy between the two arms of government.

When Governor Soludo talks about building a liveable and prosperous homeland, it is anchored on his understanding that every Onye Anambra must see “Project Anambra” as a collective goal irrespective of political, religious, and socioeconomic cleavages. His “one Anambra, one Agenda, one people” vision summarizes his belief that the interest of the State must supersede all other interests no matter the coloration.

Part of the critical highlight of the retreat is the active participation of the leadership of both arms of government at every segment of the program — including the brainstorming sessions. The Tony Blair Foundation provided partnership support in the form of credible resource persons who spoke on important subject matters affecting governance and personal development.
