Youth Commissioner and Solution Team continues screening of Prospective Master Trainers on Day 5
Today, on September 1, 2023, the Ministry of Youth Development proceeds with Day 5 of skill assessment for potential master trainers in the transformative 'One Youth Two Skills Solution' program. Participants from diverse regions, including ANAMBRA EAST, ANAMBRA WEST, OGBARU, ONITSHA NORTH, ONITSHA SOUTH, and more, have gathered at the SSG HALL, GOVERNMENT HOUSE, AWKA, for this crucial phase.
Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, Anambra State's Commissioner for Youth Development, stressed the program's importance in addressing local government challenges stemming from past insurgencies.
The Commissioner commended the effort of the Youth Friendly Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his exhibition of visionary leadership in human capital development for the Youths in Anambra State. Within One year in office, Mr. Governor has recruited over 6000 youths as Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, etc also engaged over 400 master trainers and skillfully coached 5000 trainees in areas such as ICT, Beauty Care & Gele, Cinematography, and Metal Fabrication, building a promising future.
Mr. Mba charged the Prospective Master Trainers to always imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith and support Governor SOLUDO's administration with what God had given to them.
Key figures, including Lady Etuka Chito Osili and Engr Chueka Omata, SA to the Governor on Youth Development, Hon Nonso Chude EA to the Governor on Youth Development, members of the technical team, Local Government Desk Officers and other heads of department graced the event, highlighting a collaborative commitment to nurturing a skilled youth workforce.
