Soludo's Aide, Dr. Omenugha Reassures Greater Commitment to Development of Youths of Anambra State
The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha has emphasized that "1 Youth 2 Skills" programme will redefine the economy of Anambra state as it will raise thousands of entrepreneurs.
Dr Omenugha stated this at the Government House, Awka when he received the delegation of Solution YouthPreneur Support Group (SYPSG) on a courtesy visit.
SYPSG is a conglomerate of the beneficiaries of the 1 Youth 2 Skills pilot phase who volunteered to appreciate the Governor's gesture through spreading the enormous impact of the programme and the need for ndi Anambra especially the youths to see the future Governor Soludo is preparing for them.
Dr Omenugha, while addressing the gathering appreciated them for volunteering their skills, noting that whatever they were paid cannot be compared to the skills they transferred and sacrifices to ensure the success of 1 Youth 2 Skills programme which he said has smart youth entrepreneurs.
He expressed his gratitude for the initiative of coming together under SYPSG to support the Governor and encouraged them to sustain the momentum.
Dr Omenugha emphasized that Governor Soludo is quite intentional about giving Anambra youths a brighter future and assured them of his unalloyed support to the group and encouraged them to grow by patronizing each other and made-in- Anambra products.
He noted that the problem of the young people will to a large extent be solved by the young people and encouraged them to intensify efforts towards acquiring values and marketing their skills.
Earlier while stating the purpose of their visit, the State Co-Coordinator, Prince Chinedu Ofojebe acknowledged Dr Omenugha's contributions to the success of 1 Youth 2 Skills programme and noted that their visit was to intimate him of their agenda and to seek his support.
He stated that part of their agenda is to form a strong support base for Governor Soludo to enable him actualize his good vision for Anambra state.
Also speaking, a member of the group, Mr Tony Omatah noted that Dr Omenugha's strategic impact on the development of Anambra youths cannot be overemphasized hence the importance of the courtesy visit and further collaborations.
He assured Dr Omenugha of their greater commitment to the Anambra project.
