Alongside the trade, every beneficiary is trained in entrepreneurship in partnership with UNIZIK Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Since January 2025 selected participants receive a smart Talking Book and Pen that carries all the modules of the entrepreneurship scheme, so lectures can be followed even in the shop.
Performance is tested through project monitoring and evaluation. Those who succeed are certified by UNIZIK Business School after the examination for business financing. An Online Entrepreneurship Academy is open for personal development, but the UNIZIK certificate and business financing come only through the 1Youth2Skills programme.
