Sport is back in the Ministry. The approach is bottom-up: certified coaches, grassroots facilities, and competitions that give young talent a pathway — “catch them young, train them right, and keep them long.”

Register of sports practitioners

Mandatory registration, retraining and certification for every sports instructor, coach, officer and administrator in the State.

Coaching standards & athlete welfare

Capacity-building workshops for coaches and administrators — sports management, athlete health and safety, coaching ethics and sports law.

Grassroots facilities

New community facilities for young athletes — Ora-Eri in Aguata and the multipurpose arena at Eziowelle — and mini-stadium proposals for the 21 LGAs.

Talent discovery & competitions

Competitions that give young players a stage — including the Soludo Solution Preseason Tournament, a scouting platform for Solution FC.
